Debra Xiangjun Hayes 杜相君, M.A., M.S.O.M, D.A.C.M., L.Ac. is a practitioner of Eastern, Integrative, and Oriental medicine and an anthropologist whose life path and illness led her to seek ancient wisdom.
Once an aspiring surgeon, the healing path ultimately called her to step beyond custom and convention, to retrace the footsteps of many lives, and learn to see through “native eyes.”
It led her on the quest for ancient wisdom and drew her to peoples and cultures, language and beliefs, traditional and cultural healing practices throughout the world, the interweaving of medicines.
While experiencing firsthand the simple power of Qi Gong, then acupuncture and herbal medicine, she rededicated her life for the sake of others. Never could she have imagined where that all lead—to Mainland China for research, study, practice, medical residencies and apprenticeships, teaching in the medical college in China, and translation.
Combining the best of Chinese medicine and numerous Eastern medicines, she draws on experience, strategies and techniques gained during her 20+ year journey to customize treatments and promote healing.
She primarily addresses:
Autoimmune, chronic and difficult conditions
Pain conditions
Internal diseases (allergies, asthma, headaches, insomnia, anxiety, digestive problems, low energy),
Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) and cancer treatment support.
She can help with many many others.!
